Does anyone know how to get cheaper Heathrow Express tickets? At this stage my boyfriend is picking me up after my holiday but due to work he can't get me to Heathrow in time for my midday flight.
I know that the MSE thing to do is take the tube to Heathrow - in my backpacking-Aussie-in-London days I knew all the cheap ways to get to airports! But that means leaving my home in the wilds of Buckinghamshire at a stupidly early hour to get to London, allowing 90 minutes travel time in London and dealing with peak hour commuters. And I know how much peak hour commuters love backpackers and their luggage!
I'd rather just travel two stations up the line and get the Heathrow Express from Paddington and have a bit of time to relax and stretch before I spend the next 24 hours on a plane to Australia! But I am too MSE to feel happy paying £15 for a 15 minute journey!
So, is there a cheap way to get a single ticket to Heathrow on the Express?

I don't know if it's still on but if you join BAA Worldpoints online they credit you with 100 points which is enough to buy 2 tickets half price on the Heathrow or Gatwick Express
*If you like the advice I give...let me know by clicking the THANKS button*
