Do what this man did to his hundred grand BMW M6 outside a famous German car show:

What is the make and model of your car? The BMW M6 is pretty much all show no go, just paying for the badge.
Please stop trolling on threads and trying to de-rail them with nonsense like this.

It wouldnt take much concerted effort on peoples part to get you banned again, so please knock it off.0 -
there is a real lack of information on this threadReported initial problem with car 18/08/15 (Gearbox).
what was wrong with the car and what was the response of the dealer when they tried to repair it and failed0 -
Wasn't there a thread a couple of weeks ago that sounds like this one, with an MG6 that had had 3 new gearboxes, each one worse than the previous?
If they are offering over £10K for a car that they retailed at £14K 18 months ago I'd take it and get rid.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

The gear selection was faulty. It took the dealership/garage between august 15 and march 16 to finalise this issue. They replaced clutch, linkage and then finally replaced gearbox. It was still faulty and then they adjusted linkage again which corrected problem.
The vehicle then developed further faults with suspension, brakes etc immediaty after coming out the dealership.
Whilst in the dealership they also caused body damage and paint damage as they hit it with another vehicle.
The current problem sounds like a faulty drive shaft but thats me guessing.
This is a car that only done 9000 miles.
I have to make numerois trips to the dealership and they kept returning faulty.
Although i was given a courtesy car it was not of the same standard.0 -

Sweet Jesus. They did all that, for a misadjusted linkage?
And you're still taking it back to them? The vehicle then developed further faults with suspension, brakes etc immediaty after coming out the dealership.
Totally unrelated to the gearbox work, then.Whilst in the dealership they also caused body damage and paint damage as they hit it with another vehicle.
Incompetence, sure, but accidents happen. Again, not the same problem.I have to make numerois trips to the dealership and they kept returning faulty.
It's a manufacturer approved-used? So take it to a different dealer...0 -
I appreciate that the car has had a lot of issues and has been in and out of the dealership multiple times but you purchased this car 17 months ago and from what i gather when your car has been off the road you have had a replacement car
Do yo think it is realistic to expect all the money that you have paid back after a period of 17 months?0 -
I believe i should of been entitled to the refund when i asked after owning the car for 2 months and also after 5 months however they offered me £2k less the price i paid. It only done 120miles in those 5 months. This was not acceptable.
I guess i will prob have to swallow the loss, however feel it is awful they have got away with selling an approved car which was obviously not approved and they should of refunded me at my first request0 -

I would think you should have been more forceful at the time, I would have gone to the dealer principal and involved the manufacturer at two months in if things were as bad as you say
I think you have left it run on to long now and you may have to take the hit and accept the latest offer and move on
what manufacturer was it ?0
