Please help! Land registry of lack of?

Options
Its been a slow 5 weeks which nothing has happened. The house is a deceased sale so we are dealing with a probate company and an exc of will. The house isnt registered and the vendor has had to draw the boundary out and send it back to register the land for the deeds etc. The house was self built about 25 years. Will all this take long as nothing seems to be happening? The letter with the drawn on boundary was sent back friday?

There are other threads mentioning delays at the LR although apparently there are processes for speeding it up if it is urgent.

Your situation sounds a bit complicated as LR will have to ensure that boundary submitted matches the boundaries of neighbouring plots or land. If they are all registered it can be checked in the office. If some are not registered it would be more complicated and I've no idea how it would be resolved unless the neighbours co-operate and everyone confirms and agrees the boundaries.

If the vendor informs the LR that a sale is being held up, the LR can expadite the work (higher up their 'to do'pile).

But gov cuts mean they are overworked. As suggested it also depends if it is a straight-forwad matter, or needs verifing on the ground.
