After seeing what recent sales of "AK47" notes have gone for, I'm not surprised:I think the buyer has got a bit of remorse here.

With the way ebay seems to always favour buyers, I wouldn't be surprised to see the OP on the receiving end of a not as described dispute fairly soon.0 -
I blame this website for encouraging people. Expect to see 50ps and 20ps flooding Ebay due to this websites encouragement. Saying that if someone is stupid enough to pay £60 for a 20p piece then good luck to those selling
Not just this site though, online news articles where a dodgy auction appeared to have sold one for a high amount. abviously shill bid because the buyer had zero feed back and the item relisted within 2 minutes of the auction ending.
Ask a genuine collector what its worth and whether they will pay that right now. If not them its not worth that amount.
There is another thread on London Mint coins where my FIL also collected them and thought there were worth ££££'s. One he paid several hundred £'s for was selling on ebay for around £80.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

And some sellers of these notes will invent any old story as to why they are selling the "special" fivers to make a profit, this one's description/story certainly made me chuckle!!!
