Angry with Student Loan co, LEA and uni!!!

Ever feel like people are conspiring against you???
My husband and I are both full time students- he's just started, I'm retaking Year 2 for health reasons.
Student Loan co have completely messed up my husband's application. They never sent him his secret answer, then refused to talk to him on the phone, while promising one had been sent out. Eventually he managed to talk to a supervisor, who found that although the computer claimed that 2 payment schedules and a secret answer had been sent, nothing actually had been (no idea how that works...). Finally, after weeks of hassle, the schedule came today- payment should actually have been made on Monday as his college took his student support no. from the notification letter!- and they have put the wrong account number on it. Icing on the cake? He rings up and they say 'oh, phone us back in a weeks time and we'll rearrange your payment date'! So we're supposed to wait an extra 2 weeks or so because you can't run your business? :mad: I think some supervisor can expect to get his ear chewed off tomorrow morning.
The LEA do their best, but have decided to only answer student finance calls on Monday and Friday- okay, at least they told us, BUT when you ring on those days, you still get the recorded 'we do not take calls except on mon or fri' message 90% of the time :rolleyes: Luckily, the building is a short walk away from where we live, so we can go in and hand in info etc. Quite what the people who work full time or live a couple of bus rides away are meant to do I don't know.
So my husband's loan is trapped in the Ether and mine isn't going to come in on time either because my uni haven't sent the 'returning student' letter to the LEA to give to SLC. It could have been sent weeks ago, but someone in their office thought it had to wait until the progressions board made their final decision that I hadn't passed last year (which they did yesterday). The relevant letter will hopefully be sent today, but since I'll be waiting for it to get from the LEA to SLC and for them to process, approve and send out the payment schedule for my loan, I'm not exactly banking on it going in on the 24th as expected!!!
Excuse the long rant, I had to blast off somewhere after the phone calls of the last 2 hours:eek:
