I Phone 4. no longer able to get radio connection/app

Suddenly I find this week that I can no longer get radio stations on my I phone 4. I especially wanted some BBC programmes. Has there be a change that has stopped radio stations being available on my old I phone 4. I cannot afford a newer model as I am now a pensioner so I have to stick with what I have got. Any helpful suggestions or feedback will be appreciated as I am not the most technically adept.

Is it an app you use ?

Only thing I can think of is the app isn't up to date.
  • Assuming you are using iPlayer Radio app, that has a minimum IOS requirement of 9.3 or later. The iPhone 4 only supports up to IOS 7.1.2.

Might explain it. You would need an iPhone 4S or later.
