Midnight to midnight. What had you in mind?

End of business to end of business
Don't assume that is midnight or even the same time 7 days a week.
Might sound petty but there has been more than one poster fallen foul in the past.

I'm not sure that this is relevant to the issue we are addressing - an FPS transaction that doesn't complete on the day expected.

For sure, more than one poster has fallen foul of not understanding that FPS is not a guaranteed same-day service

    Who mentioned FPS delays ?
You said transfer out and back in again the same day , which is of course correct , but I queried your definition of day?
You then came back with an incorrect answer. As far as nationwide are concerned , a day does not run from midnight to midnight.
