Bakewell Winter Wonderland

Hello,
Looking for help and advice, as some of you may know the recent bakewell winter wonderland was a disaster.
It was completely unorganised and was more of a summer fair than a winter wonderland, Santa was not there yet as they were still building his grotto on the friday.
I have contacted Bakewell Winter wonderland and the only response i can get is they are offering VIP passes to their December event which i cannot attend and wouldnt attend anyway.
I am just wondering what are my rights in claiming as i believe the event has been mis sold and overall pretty poor.
I could start up an event in a field charge people an entrance fee and not refund them.
Thank you

How much money are we talking about? If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

I believe it was £7 per person to enter a muddy field containing 2 marquee tents and a small funfair.
In one report and family had travelled to it with the intention of camping over the weekend but they went home as they had seen everything in 20 minutes.I don't like morning people. Or mornings. Or people.0 -
Hi,
Its only £10 but my friends are in the same boat.
Its more the principle that they shouldnt be charging for such a poor event.
various news companies have commented and issued articles on the state of the show.0 -
If your (and I mean your, not your friends') total spend was £10, it isn't worth taking to court as it will cost you £30 to make a claim, which you could only recover if you won.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

In total there was 3 couples at £10 per couple, it isnt a big expense i agree but its more so the fact of them mis selling the winter wonderland experience and not providing on their promise.
I'm hoping some other people may be in the same boat as me and i am intrigued to see how other people have got on obtaining refunds etc.
Thanks for the info Lin
