I look after a Church Hall - gas heating and radiators in 2012. The boiler is a commercial unit 65kW from Vaillant running CH only (about 20 rads); a second boiler does the HW and other rads. (We halved our running costs compared with the wall mounted balanced flue rads.)

Both are controlled by conventional programmers and hard wired stats.

I have wifi in the building and I am thinking about replacing the stats by Nest, Hive or vSmart (made by Vaillant). I am looking for convenience - setting heating from home rather than visiting the building would be good.

Are they all essentially the same ?
