I presume you've tried professional locksmiths as opposed to car part shops? I know car keys are expensive but I don't think I've paid as much as £25 for a 'doors only' key for a Ford transit. We have a few 'driver' keys which we pass around as required but need lots of 'door' keys.

As for the stop lock, we have used a big 'cover the wheel' type lock and it came with 3 keys. Which was useful when I lost my keys for a few months - I found them inside my handbag :o after I'd had copies cut of everything else. That might be the only way to deal with that if a key can't be cut.

    Hi goldilocks,

I'm going to move this over to the Motoring and Public Transport board, as you may get more help there.

Try your local key cut shops, they often can do standard car keys I remembered I had my pug205 car keys done (9years ago) for £4 each. Should not cost £25 for sure.

hi,the reason why its 25 pound, is there is a chip in the seat key, otherwise one keymaker said he could make a car key that would unlock the door but not start the car, the stoplock can't be made, so it looks as if we're all sharing.
