    well yes, but I distinguish between outright lies told by politicians of both sides of the brexit debate
    and genuine attempts by economists (even if biased by group think or even their paymasters) to make economic forecasts.
    The forecasts of the last few years have been consistently wrong (pre brexit debates) and consistently under estimating the UK economic performance : it must be worhwhile asking why.
