6 different tickets same notification date.

I have just received 6 different tickets with the same notification date for parking 'violations' from Highview Parking. These different tickets are dated between 15/10/2016 to the 10/11/2016. I've parked here for 3 years as I work in the shopping centre and I don't know what to do next...

  • Have you *EVER* had a windscreen ticket placed on your car?

For a start, any that are older than 56 days are not compliant, so can't be pursued.

If any of them refer to a windscreen ticket and are less than 56 days old, then they could be valid and will require a bit of work on your part.

Read the **NEWBIES** thread, read this https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5564449 thread which explains the process. Send off the appropriate letters, one per ticket.

Assuming (1) they are from ANPR cameras and (2) you are the registered keeper, they are all out of the 14 day limit set by POFA. Be sure not to say who was the driver and do some reading of this forum including the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of the forum.
  • No tickets on my windscreen just 6 letters that came yesterday and I'm just reading through the FAQs now, thanks
  • If you're sure you've never had a windscreen ticket, then there is an appropriate letter in that thread i first linked.

But please confirm you are registered keeper an vehicle is not leased.
  • Yes I am the registered keeper and I'll make sure I state it on the letter

Where do I stand if its a PCN where the images look like they have been taken by a hand held camera? Also over the 14 days
  • Doesn't matter as long as you've never had a windscreen ticket.

*** This is going be the best template for me I believe***
    Dear Sirs

    Re: PCN No. ....................

I challenge this 'PCN' as keeper of the car and I will complain to the landowner about the matter if it is not cancelled.

I believe that your signs fail the test of 'large lettering' and prominence, as established in ParkingEye Ltd v Beavis. Your unremarkable and obscure signs were not seen by the driver, are in very small print and the terms are not readable to drivers.

Further, I understand you do not own the car park and you have given me no information about your policy with the landowner or on site businesses, to cancel such a charge. So please supply that policy as required under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You have omitted clear information about the process for complaints including a geographical address of the landowner.

There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn. You must either rely on the POFA 2012 and offer me a POPLA code, or cancel the charge.

I have kept proof of submission of this appeal and look forward to your reply.

    Yours faithfully,
