Taken to court??

Back in July I parked in a caravan sites pay and display car park, I bought a valid ticket but came back to a parking charge notice! My ticket was upside down, it must of blown upside down when I shut the door! I appealed and it was denied and the debt sent on to a company called TNC; a very angry company. I've had my fair share of phone abuse from them. They have now said they are taking me to a small claims court..can they do this/will they do this? Do I need to worry? I have my ticket to prove!! Thanks

TNC are debt collectors - you can ignore debt collectors.

Block their number, and don't answer them when they ring.

If you get real court claim correspondence then come back to the newbies faq thread for advice on defending.

Go back to the site and ask them to intervene and get it cancelled.

    And no, TNC cannot litigate.

Not saying Armtrac never try a claim but TNC cannot.

    Armtrac efforts are defendable!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
