Problems watching Amazon prime on tablet

I have an Amazon Prime sub which I use to watch TV shows etc on my android tablet. Recently when I have tried to do this, I have got a message from Amazon telling me I need to reset the Protected Content settings first. It directs me to do this via the three dots option on the top right of the Chrome home screen.
Specifically it directs me to Settings/Site Settings/Protected Content to fix this issue. My problem is my Site Settings option does not include any entry Protected Content.
This is what my Site Settings looks like.

I am running Chrome 54. The Chrome help forum has a question about this from someone and the reply says it is probable the issue is. because they are running a domain as admin. I have no idea what this means but I am not doing it. I just have a plain vanilla tablet and run no special apps or domains on it.
Meanwhile I can no longer watch Amazon Prime on my tablet. Can anyone advise?
(I did post a previous version of this query here but it was a bit muddled and I screwed up the title so it kind of got lost. So I am hoping with this topic being a bit clearer, someone may be able to help.😃)

It's there on the Android Tab of the link you posted - ( https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/114662?hl=en&ref_topic=3421433&vid=0-1204466449274-1480351461968&co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&oco=1 )
It says the Protected content option is now in Media -
⋮ > Settings > Site settings > Media > Protected content

Use the App, it will work much better.

Sadly that will not install on my tablet. gives error message This app is incompatible with your device. I am running android v 4.4.2 plain vanilla.0

I've got an Acer tab running (~99% sure) 4.4 vanilla and I use Amazon video all the time. No issues here. I had to install the Amazon app store to download and install the Prime video app though. Wouldn't work for me through Google Play.
I'll check the exact build version when I get home.
Edit: First chance to post back. Confirmed 4.4.2 vanilla.0
