You've already told us that you knew the lease was for 10k, and that you'd need to change that post-signing. That's not, in itself, daft. It may well be that the extra mileage charges were lower than the extra monthly - so by doing it that way, you'd be ahead. IF you remembered to change the mileage once the lease was in place.Pretty much, I trusted him as the broker who had my money and I took him at face value assuming he knew what he was doing.
