Maybe I am old fashioned but usually the term 'professional' means that you earn a living from it. Otherwise everyone who sings karaoke on a weekend is a professional singer, and the blokes in the pub 5 a side are professional footballers.
If you are seeking work, you can claim jobseekers. If you want to continue being a 'professional' darts player and not look for a job which someone is actually willing to pay you to do, you will not get JSA.
Housing benefit is related to your income. As your income is currently zero, you could claim it.0 -
If you are on a low income (and not earning any money is indeed a low income) you are likely to be eligible for housing benefit.
If you are actively looking for work, and would accept any job if offered, then you are likely to qualify for JSA.
Alternatively, if you are self-employed and building your business as a darts professional then you might get something from Working Tax Credits, although these are being phased out and replaced with Universal Credit.0 -

You say that you don't earn, but do you get prize money ?
If so, this is income, especially if on a regular basis.
You must have some kind of income unless someone keeps you or you beg .0 -
Based on the fact you didn't want to give any information whatsoever I would say no, you're not entitled to anything.
Or maybe you would. Who knows...Master Apothecary Faranell replied, “I assure you, overseer, the Royal Apothecary Society dearly wishes to make up for the tragic misguidance which ended so many lives. We will cause you no trouble. We seek only to continue our research in peace".0 -
Just because someone is a professional or qualified doesn't mean they are earning a regular income. It's simple really. If the OP doesn't get any regular income like on a weekly, two weekly or monthly basis then I would say claim JSA.
Playing darts in a pub and winning a prize in my opinion isn't a regular income, Since the person isn't guaranteed to win any money, So can't possibly be a regular amount of money.0 -
I would have thought a professional would be sponsored by a company so they have IncomeMortgage free wannabe
Actual mortgage stating amount £75,150
Overpayment paused to pay off cc
Starting balance £66,565.45
Current balance £56099
Cc around £32000 -

If, of course, they are prepared to look for work and take it, if offered......0 -
