Have I Been Pwned Website

On tonight's programme it mentioned this website, so curious I went along and entered my email address and it came up with 3 websites that had been breached in connection with my email address. One I had definitely registered with. Two I'd had no connection/registration with. So I'm dubious as to whether it's actually giving correct info. Any others found this?

I would take the haveibeenpwned .com site seriously.

I've just read the FAQ and it doesn't answer my query it talks about USERNAMES, my query is I never registered with 2 of the sites that it has brought up, so how can my Email Address be breached on these 2 sites when my email address was not stored on the sites, as I have been no where near the sites.

Dubious! I won't be taking Have I Been Pwned seriously because it's giving out duff info.
