Looking forward to passing the news onto Wright Hassall who can print a copy of said email for their records, shortly before rolling it up and shoving it somewhere personal.

Yes, but I'm living in hope that someone would help with wording as I'm not sure if I should be complaining or requesting assistance. Thanks

You need your own thread, some background information and your own draft of what you're intending to send, then you might get some help in fine tuning.

Have you read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread yet? If not, please do so, then you'll understand the game in which you're now embroiled.

Yes, I have read the whole of the newbies several times now and this left me thinking I shouldn't post a thread at this point as I am only at the start of what could be a scary journey (to me anyway). I was also afraid of putting something in a post that will identify me (as mentioned in the newbies section); ie if I put something in a draft letter through naiveity (sorry cant spell this). I also don't want to clog up a forum. I could see there is some great templates re appealing, popla etc, I just wanted a bit of a template for complaining to landowner which was successful. :o

Read the ones linked in the NEWBIES thread then! An entire link to complaints is there.

I'm in almost exactly the same situation as the OP was. Same service station company, same parking firm, and same reason for getting a charge (just a different location). I haven't replied to anything yet so I'm in a good position, but I'm a bit disappointed that the OP didn't finish this thread off nicely by giving out some details like what address and who he wrote to. There are multiple options given on the MOTO website, and most seem to be directed at the firm who sent me the charge.

I'm going to use their general feedback contact form

...failing that, I might write to them via twitter...

    You're disappointed?

Try giving months and months of very detailed, expert advice, over many hours of your own time, absolutely voluntarily, to help a complete stranger with their own problem, then receive absolute silence in terms of feedback on outcome, you'll know exactly what 'disappointed' really means on this forum! :)
