Iceland Bonus Card online top up warning.

I always top up my Iceland bonus card online, using my (Cash back) credit card before I shop with the amount I expect to spend. In order to benefit from the £1 bonus they give for every £25 top up.
I’ve recently had a problem that has now happened twice, once in August and again in November. Both times I topped up my bonus card with £50. All seemed OK until I checked my credit card statement & noticed that £50 had been charged twice, on the same day. Checked my bonus card & each time only 1 x £50 had been credited.
Both times I called Iceland CS, who took some convincing of what had happened. Both times they clearly thought I was wrong but said they would check my payments and call back. Both times they called back were very apologetic that I was indeed right. And arranged to refund £50 back to my credit card.
Now for this to happen twice in three months I’m thinking I can’t be the only customer this has happened to. So if you have topped up your Iceland bonus card online, check your payment card statements, you too may have been double charged.
