How to Sign Out of Gmail?

My wife has a computer with Windows 8.1 and IE11.
I signed into my gmail account on her computer and now she can't sign into her gmail account because every time she tries it automatically goes to my account and I can't figure out to change it.
I can't see an option on my account to sign out of my gmail account.
I tried deleting the cookies but whenever she enters the gmail address it goes to my account.
She can sign in using private browsing but the next time it goes to my account and I still cannot sign out of my account.
Help!

Strange. Deleting the cookies should log you out.
You could go to the File menu, and select "New session" to open another browser window that won't share cookies from your main browser session. Maybe worth a go?

Sign out from another computer
If you forgot to sign out of your email on another computer, you can remotely sign out of Gmail.
Open Gmail.
In the bottom right corner, click Details and then Sign out all other web sessions.0 -
On my gmail there is a photo in the top right hand corner. If I click it then if offer some options of which "sign out" is one.0

Once sorted, why not install an alternative browser, and one of you uses that instead of IE11?No free lunch, and no free laptop
