Humax freesat recorder

Anyone know if its possible to record a programme whilst watching another when only one LNB feed exists ?

    Not possible; what are you going to use to feed the other signal from your satellite dish if you are using one of them to view?

    Well, you can records 2 channels on different transponders but they'd have to be the same polarity and band
    Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

    Yes you can (I do) but not fully.

    You need to do a cross connect with the 2 inputs (apologies if this isn't the right terminology). We did it as a temporary measure but found that with the +1 channels and late night repeats you rarely need to miss anything.

    Well, you learn something new every day.
    That does explain it very well, of course you do have to have a particular type of Humax PVR and do the input/output connection but it is worth remembering.
