Tesco Credit Card

Hi All,

I went through an IVA two years ago (2 years in Jan 08) and am slowly trying to get my credit record straight.

The Insolvency Practitioner(IP) mistakenly included a Tesco Credit Card within the IVA which was in my wifes name and with me as a second card holder. I then advised the IP to remove it from the IVA which they did. My wife never cancelled the direct debit monthly payment to Tesco but the payments stopped leaving our bank. When she called Tesco they refused to speak with her as they said it had been moved to their "legal" department and no conversation coul dbe had anymore. She called again and the same answer. We kept the DD in our current account but she still has on her credit report that £2k is outstanding on a CC and we have heard nothing in nearly 2 years. The only issue I have is that it is not helping her credit rating but need to know what to do next. Do we write to Tesco's and admit or should we just keep quiet hoping all will go away??
