Hi, I got an issue I was hoping someone could help me with.
I bought some tiles online and had some surplus and wanted to send them back. They recommended a pallet shipping company and I set up the delivery to return the tiles. The website explains the size of the pallet, which I adhered to. When the lorry turned up the driver said it was the wrong pallet and he could not pick it up. I called the company and on the phone they said that I had the wrong pallet. I needed a British standard pallet rather than the pallet I used (I googled "standard pallet" and that does not exist). I had to rearrange the delivery and pay another £40 but I am not convinced I should be paying this. I have asked various times if they could show me on their website where it states that the pallet has to be a specific pallet. So far I had nothing.
I don't quite know how to pursue this as I have no evidence. The evidence is the absence of evidence of them telling me exactly what pallet to use.
Can anyone help?
Faye

What size was the pallet you used?0

What is the name of the pallet shipping company?
I wonder if it is a B2B service that would reasonably expect the client to know which pallet to use.0
