Car HP/Leasing - should I go down THAT road?

Thank you to all who have answered.
I can see the logic in both viewpoints, so I guess I'm still undecided and appreciate that it's a very personal choice depending on individual circumstances.
We have just moved to a very rural location, and I guess it's the hassle and inconvenience owning an older car has bought recently that is making me consider something newer and hassle free (when I say hassle I'm referring to maintenance and repairs etc) Basically with 2 small children, a school run to do and living in the middle of nowhere I can't afford to be without a car (when my Qashqai died on me recently I found myself having to use a hire car which cost £100 a week, and got me thinking - I could just be leasing for half this cost!).
I guess I'll keep an eye out for deals over the Christmas/New Year period.
I'm not fussed about trim, model etc I just need something family sized.0 -
anyone thinking about leasing, take a look here:
http://www.lingscars.com/
It screams scam, and once you have some headache pills its a good site and is actually genuine (I have my car from here)....0
