Dash cam - power cable/DAB interference problem

Sounds like the dashcam is emitting RF interference in the DAB bands, the cable is acting like an antenna for it.
The dashcam isn't, as per previous posts, when running alone on battery it's ok, it's only when you charge, so yes the cable is the issue but it's the charge that is the problem!
I have some better ferrite bands and will loop the cable a couple of times, after that start looking at shielded cable, nice challenge but annoying it didn't work off the bat and that the garage just unplugged it and didn't tell meSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

You said the interference happens if the cable is in the dashcam, but not plugged in.
This means (as the cable is only plugged into the dashcam), the interference has to be coming from the dashcam.0 -
Nasqueron how did you get on in the end?
I'm also interested in avoiding two interference with my dashcam.0
