Tesco Technika faulty TV - worth an engineer's report?

I'd be surprised if CAB said that one of the options would be a full refund
On the public website there is this tool

I used it for what I believe is your situation and the result says a part refund would be far more likely0 -

Well, that option is to spend £40 to get £33 at most, it seems.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Tesco called your bluff. They know TS wouldn't take on a case like this and that you'd got your facts wrong.
If you want to go back to them again then change the way you approach them. You have a fault, you feel the tv should have lasted longer, how should you proceed in taking this further? I wouldn't be contacting them again in your position, they'll have records of your previous communication so will take anything you say with a large pinch of salt.0 -

Get yourself down to Richersounds and buy a proper tv.

Tend to agree
I'd also be pretty peed off if I was the CAB person by the way you misrepresented their advice0
