Dorothy Perkins Store Card PPI Help!!!

Hi
My wife had a Dorothy Perkins Store Card a good few years ago and i have been trying to make a PPI claim on her behalf but we do not have the actual Account Number on the Card and I have written to Santander who have wrote back saying they have no records of the Account and to Genworth who need the Account Number to start any claims process. Can anybody give me any help of how to obtain the Account Number for this Store Card??? I have been advised to write a SAR Letter but would that need to be to Santander or Dorothy Perkins themselves or somebody else?? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The DSAR will cost you £10 and may well be wasted if they don't have any records left, you'd have to try DP as they sold the card, maybe it was closed before Santander bought the business? Depending on the age they may well have no records left, if you don't, how do you know she had PPI or that it was miss-sold?

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
