I have used this glue lots lately and find it brilliant but I need to lay a engineered oak floor now and have always been advised to use and so used PVA glue before on floors,

engineered real wood I've done doesn't need any glue - are you sure it needs it?Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

You don't want to use polyurethane for glueing floating floor joints . It expands slightly too which could break the jointHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0

Polyurethane glue can expand and lot and the Lumberjack brand is one of the makes that expands a lot more than some others such as Wurth and Evo-stik. Some engineered floors click together without glue and some require glue. They usually state what glue to use on the instructions and most of the ones I've fitted specify D4 PVA glue. D4 is waterproof so if you use anthing less than D4 and it has water spilt on the floor it can crack the joints.0
