Ealing Council PCN

I was issued a PCN in Acton (Ealiing Council) even though i clearly had a permit clearly showing. The Warden Issued the Ticket based on '' 12r Parked in a residents' or shared use parking place or zone without either clearly displaying a valid permit if voucher or pay and display ticket issued for that place, or without payment of the parking charge.

I had to park here as my mate and i were attending an event in the area and he suggested we park in her aunty's area who allowed us to use her parking permit.

1.I'm not sure whether the council is being difficult
2.Permit is valid for where we parked

i made a challenge and it was rejected by the council.

This is the parking permit i had displayed.

The permit you're displaying is one issued by a private parking company, not a council permiit

True. Take this to pepipoo forum though, as there are more Council PCN experts there than the handful we have here:

I tend to think this could be won on the 'code 12 as opposed to code 19' argument, because there was an attempt to display a residents' permit (just the wrong type). Should have been a lower level charge, therefore it should be cancelled. It is also not a residents or share use bay, it's a permit bay (different type of bay, different contravention code, lower charge but they got it wrong so will have to cancel).

A very common reason to win Council parking ticket appeals and in fact I have one in with a local Sussex council like that at this very moment (a colleague's, not mine). And we have every confidence in winning the appeal.

I think you will be coming back in the end to tell us you won this, with pepipoo help.

    :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
