Please Help -Parking Eye Charge Notice - Southampton

Hi there my name is Leo and I've recently just received a parking ticket from Parking Eye. I went to the Odeon Cinema (the Leisure World, in Southampton), however like donut i had no clue that it was a pay and display car park which could be because it was so dark that i was unable to see the sign, although it states on the letter its a pay and display for non Leisure World, and that i had to enter my registration details at the "terminal", long story short guys ill really appreciate if you could include your opinions on this matter, it states on the back of the notice that...

"All appeal and complaints must be put in writing and should be forwarded to one of the addresses below. All appeals must be received within 28 days from the date of out initial correspondence. Please include all information to assist with the appeal. this may include: a store receipt form the day in question; proof of purchase via a bank statement etc."

I don't have the receipts from the cinema, however i do have my banking app which shows that i clearly paid for tickets in the cinema. Thus i was thinking to appeal and just provide evidence that i actually used a business within the Leisure world. However i called up Odeon to ask whether they validate the parking outside, "they said no it was privately owned", although as the appeal section on the notice says, that if i have store receipts or bank statement i may be able to appeal?

Finally if someone could be of major help and inform me on what i should consider doing it'll will be very much appreciated.

First urgently remove any mentions of your name and who was driving. Also if you have used your real name as your board name get mse to change it. The ppcs monitor this forum!

Then take the time to read the newbies faq thread for advice on how and when to go about appealing
  • Thank you Quentin, yeah thats just my nickname i was very vigilant that they might actually monitor this the scums, yep I've been doing just that for the past hour or so, trying to educate myself on the actions i should consider taking, although its a bit confusing with so many different cases.

the newbies STICKY thread has details of exactly what to do with BPA members like PE and includes a blue text template for the initial appeal, nothing difficult about this part of the process

use the forum search box with suitable words like SOUTHAMPTON to find similar cases and read any from 2016 only

Not confusing. Stop clicking on links and leaving them open. When I read advice on any subject with links I read each one then close it, to avoid 'drowning' in advice.

There is only one template appeal for BOA members and it says something like: 'always add a receipt/copy bank statement if you have one'. So do that, add this without saying who was driving, so do not say 'I':

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
