Confused about Boach EcoSilence Drive

Hi.

Just wondering if any of you have done any research on quiet washing machines. I'm looking to go for a Bosch and I've read that the new EcoSilence drive means a quiet spin speed. However, I'm finding the specs on various machines confusing.

For example, the spin noise for 'ordinary' Bosch machines, without EcoSilence drive is often quoted as 77dB. Then I find a model like WAW28750GB or WAW28560GB, which have the EcoSilence drive and they are quoted as 71dB. So I thnk, that's good. All machines that have this drive must be quiet. But then I come across a WAT28420GB which John Lewis, ao.com and Bosch themselves says has this drive but the quoted spin noise is 77dB.

Any idea what's going on here? Why don't all machines with this quiet drive motor have a spin rating as 71db?
