Roof leak/ solar tubes

Got 2 panels of AMK SOLAC OPEC 15 'optimized parabolic collector' tubes on bungalow roof. Around 10 yrs old. We are having them removed to have the roof re tiled and are not replacing . Is it a matter of paying to get them taken away, or are they worth anything - like maybe free to a remover that wanted them. Far as I know they work fine . Its the valves and things in the roof which are a faulty and expensive to get sorted and the system maintained.

Don't really know the answer, I suspect at 10 years old worth half of second hand price for virtually new ones, which might be 60% retail.....20 to 30% of new price less removal?

But I am surprised that a 'fix' is expensive especially if you can diy! Solar water is not really complicated....
