Their own tariff comparison gives all same prices for next year, whichever one you go for..

gas total this year £260, based on (i think) 4,200 units used.

elec total £463, 2,796 units (kwh).

tariff rates-
4.11p / kwh
26p / day standing charge.

I am paying £40 a month on gas (a/c currently £50 odd in credit), and £30/month leccy (£11 in credit).

Have a combi boiler, used for washing up / showers.

central heating on only if very cold, for about an hour daily, in winter.

(Accrued bills up to last year were wiped out, with very handy debt grants from BG trust!)

Yep - I have just switched for a 16p/day standing charge and a unit price of 2.48p/kWh for gas. No exit fees.
  • That is very expensive, I use 50% more of each fuel and pay less than you in total.

Have a look at the switching sites for what is available to you and also check out individual gas and electric suppliers not just dual fuel deals. It is cheaper for me to have separate companies supplying gas and electricity by some way.

Daligas doing 2.39 p/kwhr and 19 p a day standing charge .At the moment you can fix it for a year at that rate or go variable with no exit fee.Seems a good bet fixed for the year.It appears to be the cheapest gas tariff, for me, in my area
Who is that with Hengus if i may ask ?

Have been paying monthly, leccy bill instalments are dropping by £5 (same tariff), yet to get new figures for gas.

Should I be reclaiming some of money paid back? Did this given impression was their best tariff.
