Welcome to our newest member DebtFreeDebbie - everyone is free to join us and it's amazing how quickly the money grows on our challenge. It doesn't matter if you join us after our original start date, there is plenty of 2017 left in order to catch up and you won't be sorry;) This challenge takes away a lot of the stress at Christmas and leaves you free to enjoy the festivities:D

As Jo Blogs has reminded us, we do need to remember that the old £1 coins will cease to be legal tender in October.


"Everyone with a piggybank or coin jar needs to turn them up upside down and shake out all your £1 coins, because as of 15 October the current £1 coins will cease to be legal tender and will soon be un-spendable. They are being replaced with new 12-sided £1 coins from next month and by 15 October, shops will no longer accept the old pound coins."
