When my 12 month contract is up, can i get rid of the phone line that they forced on me and just keep my broadband?? I don't want anything else except broadband 50mbps.

The broadband is excellent, i don't care about retention deals but i will try it anyways, if not then fine by me

Current 'standard' price I'm paying for standalone basic VM broadband ( no phone line ) is £32.50/month, if you get a deal perhaps you could post what price they agreed to, I have seen deals , a discount for the first 12 months of a deal, but I don't know if they offer these deals to existing customers , even if the existing customer threatens to leave for another ( non cable) provider

You could boycott them for interfering in the referendum vote.

I tried to drop phone line when out of contract. I was told I could but if I did I would lose discount on rest of package which would then increase by more than cost of phone line.
