Had an issue with an Amazon orders, my DC has expired. Logged in and changed it and thought all sorted.
Received an email today at 3am saying one of my items got declined. Possible i missed one swapping the card details but thought i had got them all.
Went to the Amazon login page and its forgotten my username and the URL links to openid.net?
Is that normal? I dont remember seeing it before and my username is no longer saved?
Is this a new thing for Amazon UK ?
Thanks

,.....and working fine for me.
1 ensure you have the correct address for Amazon, type it in if needs be HTTPS://www.amazon.co.uk.
If it is not that address you may have got on to a spoof web site and if so better change you password immediately you can. If you have entered DC details into the spoof, tell your card provider immediately and get it stopped and a new card sent out.
Hopefully something minor has just gone amiss. Does you browser remember usernames and passwords for you?0 -
Oh and maybe preaching to the converted......but anybody mention virus checker, firewall, anti keyloggers, updates and backups.....:)0

Just tried another PC and i click the Amazon.co.uk login icon and this is the full URL..
https://www.amazon.co.uk/ap/signin?_encoding=UTF8&openid.assoc_handle=gbflex&openid.claimed_id=http%3A%2F%2Fspecs.openid.net%2Fauth%2F2.0%2Fidentifier_select&openid.identity=http%3A%2F%2Fspecs.openid.net%2Fauth%2F2.0%2Fidentifier_select&openid.mode=checkid_setup&openid.ns=http%3A%2F%2Fspecs.openid.net%2Fauth%2F2.0&openid.ns.pape=http%3A%2F%2Fspecs.openid.net%2Fextensions%2Fpape%2F1.0&openid.pape.max_auth_age=0&openid.return_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.co.uk%2F%3Fref_%3Dnav_ya_signin
Maybe i see this because i have NoScript installed and it blocks a lot of behind the scenes activity on websites?
The actual URL bar shows https://www.amazon.co.uk/ap/signin? prior to the link above.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
