I am thinking about getting the Dacia Stepway ( petrol ), when is the best time to buy one, Before Christmas or after?
Ideally a pre- reg or nearly new or possibly new.
do they use any oil between services?
Has anyone had one that could me a clue, I do about 6000 miles a year in my Hyundai i20 and want to get a car thats a bit higher and is easier to get in and out of.
Budget £10,000 ish
thanks for any help.

You wont get much of a deal on a Dacia, they have a waiting list usually. Probably the best value new cars at the moment, smart buy if you want new.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

Buy it when you find the right car at the right price.
Do they use oil? Depends on how they are treated and production

To have any chance your best bet will be the end of the year. You will probably have to do a lot of leg work to find a dealer that is trying to hit a year end target and you will have to accept what is available on the forecourt.0

Thats not what I was hearing the other day on the radio I think. It is now seen that October is the best month to do a deal on a car.0

If you want brand new buy after Xmas and get a 2017 registered car, still a 66 plate but possibly less p/x as your Hyundai will be "1 yr older"If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

I ordered a new Stepway at the weekend from my local dealer (PCP) - thankfully one with the spec I wanted was coming off the ship as we were looking at the screen (or thereabouts). There were others being imported with various engines and trims and accessories which were available this year. It's the Logan that has a waiting list at the moment was the latest they knew; although as a dealer they had a waiting list for an ex-demo Stepway, before they'd taken delivery of it themselves, let alone used it! Just depends on what you're after and where you live - apparently dealers in the north of the country, a few towns in particular, buy them up as they arrive because they know they can stick them on the forecourt and sell 'em like hotcakes.
I read somewhere else that from a selling point of view "Dacia looks after itself" - I can well believe that.Debt free as of 28/03/2017 (just don't ask about the mortgage :rotfl:)
