Was watching tv - no problems then screen went black = no picture.
Everything else is ok including sound. Remote is working properly. Have unplugged all wiring/replaced. Also turned TV off, given it time to cool down but still the same. TV is LG Led Smart TV 32" . Cost £330 from Argos 2 1/2 years ago.
Any advice gratefully received.

Have you tried using another hdmi port ?
Maybe the part/component/board that is responsible for displaying the image has gone kaput.0 -
Do you have a torch? If not use the flashlight on your phone and shine it on the middle of the tv screen. If you can see the picture it's the backlight which can be replaced.0

This happened to me but after a while ( 30 mins) the TV 'warmed up' and the picture gradually came back. Had to plan in advance when to switch it on!! I was told it was something to do with the gas / liquid inside...... In the end we thought it would be cheaper to buy a replacement.the faulty TV was probably 7 years old at the time.0
