Magnet prices help please

We are having problems with our builder. We are having an extension built and his price included the back doors, and he gave me the Magnet Trade book for me to choose them. I had told him I wanted wood doors before he gave us his price. I told him which doors I wanted and me moaned a bit saying they would cost 'a bit more' but never told me how much. Now we are near the end and he is saying that he wants £400 more for the doors plus another £5.6K for extra work that had to be done (deeper foundations and damp work) but strange how it all adds up to a round £6k. I rang Magnet just to check how much they were and they would only give me the price without an account which come to £1074. The reason why I am so suspicious is that he put the doors in and then his workmen split the frame by wheeling the wheelbarrow over it without protecting it. I have told him it needs to be changed (he tried repairing it and a HUGE chunk came off when his workman did the same again). I think he is charging me for a newframe too so I want to check.

Does anyone have a trade price list? Would you be willing to tell me the prices if I pm you the item numbers? If not how much of a discount would Magnet give him off the price I was given (he does have an account with them). Because he has bumped up his price I can't afford to fix my floor and we may have to try fitting our own kitchen!
