Parking Charge Notice

I received a parking ticket last year which I challenged.
The reason for my appeal is that there was not any signage directing me to park in any specific location of the car park. Having parked my car I paid the required fee for the ticket at the nearest ‘Pay and Display’ machine and there was no notice on the machine to parking restrictions. I paid and believed I had parked correctly displaying a valid ticket on the window of my car.
On returning to my car and seeing the ‘Parking Charge Notice’ it became apparent that the signage on which one wish to rely had been damaged and was not properly displayed on the day in question and also the marking on the bay were faded making it difficult to read.
In view of this I requested for my appeal to be upheald but that was declined and I kept gettin letters from debth recovering agency and then from solictors. I now have received a claim form from County Court and have limited time to respond. Furthermore I have noticed that one of the alphabet in my car registration number is wrong which I received from the county court.
I am thinking of sending a letter back to the Courty Court that I do not own this car and therefore unable to respond.
I don't know if the previous correspondence from the car park company, debt recovery agency and solicitors had the same error on the registration number, will this matter?
Please can you advise.
Thanks very much

What's with the RED font? Difficult to read, don't be surprised if you get few replies if you persist with it.
Don't go for anything 'clever' in dealing with the Court. You need to deal with this correctly and expediently. Have you acknowledges service of the court papers?
Have you read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, especially the link to Bargepole's sage advice on dealing with a Small Claim?
Which parking company? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

No.I am thinking of sending a letter back to the Courty Court that I do not own this car and therefore unable to respond.
And more no. Defend it properly including that detail as a minor one.
Read the NEWBIES thread 'Small Claim?' info & links thoroughly, and please reply here in black! when you tell us you have done the AoS online, leaving the defence box blank.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
