I've been asked to buy sweet white wine for a Christmas present so could someone recommend something under £10 a bottle that I can buy from a supermarket.

Just search sweet wine on whatever supermarket you shop from.

How sweet is sweet ?
There's ones that are really sweet like Sarah has linked to or there's Moscatel de Valencia which is really sweet like the Premiere Cotes De Bordeaux.0 -

Look for wines under the category "pudding wines". Or just buy asti

I searched for sweet wine before asking on here but what I didn't understand was places like asda and tesco have wine ratings of 1-9 but aldi have wine ratings of 1-5. Then when you go in store most wines don't have the number on the bottles so you don't know what to buy.Just search sweet wine.0 -

Ask an assistant or take a note with you of the ones which you've identified on the website as possible purchases.0
