in Credit cards
I am currently trying to manage cashflow for some building work and Christmas with new 0% balance transfer cards and I need a bit more credit.
My first new credit card in many years was granted on 13/9/16, and then I got a second on 8/11/16.
What are the consequences of trying for a third? Or should I ask one, or both, of the other two for a limit increase?
I am fully intending to Stooze when the 2 years are up.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Debt to Income would probably be a bigger issue then volume of accounts
However you would want to avoid applying for credit within a six month period0 -
I have about 10. And two are used up for balance transfer offer until 2018. Using one with purchase interest fee untill May 2017. So my debt is almost £20K with interest fee. So long as you know what you are doing, you are fine.0

You have "about 10"? Don't you know how many credit cards you have?
As previously suggested a new credit account is likely to have an effect on your overall available credit and that related to your income could block further credit applications.
Otherwise it's not the number of credit cards you have but the number of credit searches you have on your credit history. Usually we define "in the last six months" but Clearscore says "in the last year".0 -
I recently applied for 4 b/trans cards in quick succession on the same day & was accepted for all of them.
I had to apply for so many as i needed to cover the basl on my 0% B/card & Santander that are about to end.0 -
