Broadband for new house

My stepson has just moved in to a new house. The previous owners would have disconnected the landline. How does he go about getting broadband? Does he have to get a new landline from BT first or can he get a new landline and broadband from the broadband supplier he would like to get broadband through?

Most providers offer landline and broadband deals.

He simply needs to go online and order using hos address. You order both at the same time.

Depends more on what state the previous tenant left it in.
But anyway, pick a provider and sign up that way either over the phone or another internet connection. They'll know from their databases what needs to happen to get the broadband going.
