Parking Eye notice charge!

First I'd just like to say it's not my week for private parking notices as I currently have an ongoing UKPC charge which I posted under "HELP - UKPC parking charge notice".
Received postal PCN from Parking Eye yesterday advising I overstayed my visit by 46 minutes!
I have been able to go back to contest and complain to landowner who is farmfoods. Manager took a copy of postal PCN advising he will send details onto area manager to cancel.
Is it worth sending a follow up email to farmfoods ensuring this has been cancelled?
Is there any point using my appeal to parking eye advising this has been cancelled by landowner farmfoods?
I am assuming parking eye will still send reminders/demands for charge even though it will have been cancelled....
Any advise welcome :j

You need to appeal to PE within the 28 day deadline they have given you, as per the NEWBIES sticky. Add a final, paragraph that Farm Foods have agreed cancellation. If you have FF receipts for the day, copy those with your appeal.
Don't let the deadline expire while awaiting a FF confirmation, otherwise you'll find it more difficult to unwind, especially if PE commence legals.
You need to judge if/when to press FF for a response - we can't guess how they will respond. All I'd say is don't you (or let them) go to sleep on this. PE don't delay in acting! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Yeah I'll appeal to PE on day 26 to cover my back. I'm a member of gym next door to farmfoods so I'll be hounding them for confirmation which I will send of as part of my appeal too.
Will get email sent off to farmfoods over weekend so hopefully I will have conformation from landowner before day 26.0 -
TBH where it's a postal PCN you don't need to wait till day 26. May as well submit the appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for advise, is it not worth waiting for farmfoods to confirm cancellation has been sent to PE before I appeal? Just been back and signage is horrendous!0

You need confirmation from PE that it is cancelled, not FF!
As advised continue with the appeal process until such time as you have written confirmation from PE the thing is cancelled.0 -

Have you taken photographs?
Why do you query my advice? If my advice was to wait for FF, I'd have said so.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Morning,
Managed to get photographs of signage, got receipt and bank statement. Ready to submit my appeal to PE (even though landowners are getting this cancelled), checked newbies thread for template to get charge cancelled. Can someone point me in the right direction plz as I can only find PPC appeal with rejection and POPLA code template...0 -
There's no template like that.
Send the blue type appeal as advised in the newbies faq thread0 -
Thanks quentin will do, just so I'm clear there's no need to mention signage etc in my 1st appeal including pics...or is all that incase it is taken to POPLA stage?0
-
The whole point of the initial appeal is the means to getting a popla code.
Send in that template as it stands., Add the bit about receipts as set out in the FAQ0
