Economy 7 and working nights

I have economy 7. I work all night my useage is minimal, through the day, and for a short period only, I am away on my days off, therefore I am paying a huge amount for any electricity I’m using.
Can anyone give any advice regarding reducing my energy outgoings please or help by suggesting another option. The property is rented.
I also have a gas fired central heating and a wood burning stove. Cooking and lights only by electricity.
I'm currently paying Npower £70 per month which seems excessive. I have been in the property since June and the bill over the summer for Dual Fuel was £200
Thanks in anticipation

Have look at switching to a provider that will allow you to have a single rate tariff with an E7 meter.
Eon is one. There must be others.0 -

Thank you Gloomendoom,
Just wanted to confirm that's correct, you can have an E7 meter and a one rate tariff if you'd like to with us.
Thanks again.

Hi Lifesaver
Thanks for your post.
We can also offer a single rate electricity tariff if you have an Economy 7 meter - the only issue is if you're on a fixed tariff when it ends it'll automatically revert back to Economy 7.
However, as of April this year we'll exchange your meter type free of charge, so please feel free to get in touch with us using the details on our profile page and we'll check our best deals and can arrange an exchange if you need one.
Kind regards
Jess
