Car Insurer retrospectively charging for "withheld info" I already gave

Hi,
I took out my first car insurance policy last month. I bought it via a comparison website. On the comparison site I entered all details for the named drivers correctly, including previous incidents, type of license etc.
After choosing a policy I was then taken to the insurers website and confirmed the details I'd Just entered on the comparison site as correct and bought the policy, paying the year in full. I was sent a link to the relevant policy documents including a Motor Proposal Confirmation which was correct.
Yesterday, after having sent a copy of my automatic only drivers license to them, I received an email with a letter attached saying they need to take a further £100 from my account because I supposedly did not disclose full details of my license when the policy was taken out. I've called them up and they've said I did not tell them my license was automatic only, even though I most definitely did on both the price comparison site and their Site, and it says so in the documents on their "cloud".
Can I challenge this? I don't have any physical or dated documents to prove that I did disclose the correct info when taking out the policy, and get a feeling they are taking me for a ride...
Any help appreciated, thanks!

You say you have a link to your docs - so use that as your grounds for complaintI was sent a link to the relevant policy documents including a Motor Proposal Confirmation which was correct......

Point out in a formal complaint that you did tell them you only had an automatic licence and ask them to cancel this extra charge.
Then take it from their reply.
If you are unhappy (or they ignore you for 8 weeks) you can escalate to the FOS for their adjudication at no cost to you0
