in Credit cards
Nearly 2 weeks after applying for virgin money cc ive finally been accepted on 22nd nov.I didnt get immediate response online and was told they would be in touch.6 working days passed so I facebook message them to be told they needed passport id or driving licence id.letter didnt arrive for the address so rang them today to be told I was successful and didnt need to send anything in after all.
It just goes to show that having a few recent searches, applications in the past month has not harmed my credit file.I recently got paypal credit (4000),argos card (2000),mbna intu cc (2300) and now virgin cc.not applying for anything else for few months now lol

WOW.... Why have you had to apply for all these cards?? Getting credit is not a game..
I only ever apply for something when I needs it no wonder Virgin took 2 weeks, they were probably worried you would take even more credit out...0 -
I only get cards for loyalty points, cash back.I dont need credit fortunately.so to me and I know I wil get flamed but it is a game,a buzz when im accepted.I only wanted this card because of the sex pistols design.I will always pay them off in full every month.dont like outstanding debt0

Have a look up at the top of the forum at the stoozing sub-forum. I'm taking a punt on interest rates going up and am borrowing a fairly large sum of money at around 1%.
People have all sorts of different motivations and drivers for applying. You might not share them, but the world would be a very boring place if we were all the same.0 -

Thanks I am fully aware and I have more things going for me than apply for cards and awaiting for the BUZZ to kick in but if this does it for someone people then I will not judge.

As I said - each to his own. If you get your buzz from asking sarcastic questions you already know the answer to, who am I to judge?0
