Hi
My son wants a Gaming PC for Xmas, I am torn between building one myself or buying an already built machine. I have a budget in mind (around £700) Can somebody please take a look at the build I am considering and advise on whether its both compatible and will do the job
i5 6400 Processor
Inno 3D NVidea 1060 6GB Graphics
MSI H170 Motherboard
Seasonic 550RM PSU
Kingston Fury 8 GB Ram
Samsung Evo 750 120GB SSD
2TB Toshiba Drive
GameMax Falcon Case
I have priced the above at £715. Any good?
And is it worth the extra £100 for this already built machine

Your PSU is better than the one in AWD.
Also you have SSD, AWD does not.
A 240 GB SSD is about £65, you could consider getting 240GB instead of 120GB.0 -
Go for i7 CPU instead of i5 and it would be a great computer.0

750gb SSD for just over £100 and ditch the double drive for the time being, can always add more storage later if neededDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0
