Parking Eye appeal or not ?

Hi,

I've just received a parking notice from Private Eye for my stay at Aldi, Home bargains Car park. I have the shopping receipts from Aldi and Home Bargains of which I spent £50 and £25 in each for this visit.

My Partner stayed for 2 hours 8 minutes in both shops. She was with her mother so I can understand why over 2 hours

Should I write to Parking Eye and appeal or Aldi, Home bargains.

I refuse to pay this as it was a legitimate reason for long shop and she was in 2 shops spending £75 This is our local supermarket, I will never shop there again if this is not reversed.

any advice appreciated. I'm fuming mad with her.

Regards

Don't do anything till you have read up on this in the newbies faq.

Then follow its advice - send the blue type appeal with a view to getting a POPLA code and at the same time complain to the right people at the retailers.

And if you want advice on being fuming mad with her (presumably you mean her indoors' mother) this sounds good grounds for never taking her shopping again!

complain to ALDI as RK with copies of receipts

appeal online to PE with the blue text template from the NEWBIES sticky thread

add a note about an occupant of the car being a patron of the shop(s) and enclose copies of the receipts

add another line stating that they should have followed the BPA CoP , clause #13 , GRACE PERIODS which allows up to 10 minutes to arrive and park and over 10 minutes to depart , so to cancel the ticket or you will use this argument at POPLA to get it cancelled

do not reveal who was driving , and its not your partners fault, its the stupid rules they impose, had it been 3 or 4 hours allowed then this would not have happened , so blame the right people , not the family
