Best bank account for travelling Asia

Hey!
My boyfriend and I are leaving to travel for SE Asia, the Philippines and Indonesia in February for an undetermined amount of time.
A few people have recommended the STA Travel Card but do any experienced travellers know of any other good bank accounts we could use? Looking for easy access accounts that won't get blocked every transaction with as little withdrawal/useage fees as poss!!!

Don't be lured by the likes of STA Travel card - bad value! Choose a range of solutions according to the MSE advice, never rely on a single source of funds - any card can be blocked, stolen, lost or fail for some reason. Include Revolut.Evolution, not revolution0
